Euclidean Genesis

 

The habits and histories of tribes
have proven Eyre correct.
Somehow or other I do not fear
death itself. For ‘with adverse fate
we best can cope/ when all
we prize has fled’.

That frontier is not a hard line
but always seems in a bad mood
because the sea is so dark.
