kambarang

the trend is warming
split seasons into six
from white noise &
thought, ungrip. static
hiss

as heat waves out
back from middle
of the track. the
degrees will rise &
climb

swooping is occasion
: monochromatic arcs
dive & loop & lark. a
squawking suggests
eggs

have opened, cracked
like sweat wets every
thing. hibernation done
becomes reptilian in its
moving

a sea breeze is soothing
but rare : here, we call
a fremantle doctor into
the air. the land begins
dare

of pushing bush orchids
into stare of wondrous
proportions, colouring
with pollen & bees for
adornment
