Mehmet Ali Çelikel

Mehmet Ali Çelikel graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of English Linguistics in 1993. He was awarded his PhD with a thesis entitled 'The Post-Colonial Condition: The Fiction of Rushdie, Kureishi and Roy' at Liverpool University in England in 2001. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Yüzüncü Yıl University in Van between 2002-2008. Çelikel has published a book on post-colonial novel in Turkish, entitled as Sömürgecilik Sonrası İngiliz Romanında Kültür ve Kimlik [Culture and Identity in Postcolonial English Novel] in 2011. He currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Pamukkale University in Denizli, Turkey.
