About Jessica Yu

Jessica Yu is a writer and PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. In 2015, she was selected as one of Melbourne Writers Festival’s 30 under 30. Her poetry, fiction, essays and memoir has been published in The Best Australian Poems, Overland, Cordite, The Lifted Brow, Award Winning Australian Writing, The Saturday Paper and more. She has received a ROSL Arts Travel Scholarship to complete a fellowship in Hospitalfield, Arbroath and exhibit her poetry as part of Edinburgh Art Festival in 2017.
