Jessica Zhan Mei Yu holds a PhD in creative writing from the University of Melbourne where she currently teaches. As part of a two-book deal with Jonathan Cape (UK) and Penguin Random House (Australia), her debut novel, But the Girl, will be published in 2023. Her essay collection, All the Stain is Tender, is set to follow in 2024.
