I Was a Teenage Gertrude Stein

By | 25 April 2002

One day soon the videoshop
will be full of movies you've never seen
hide nor hair of the wilde beast
with shakespeare stuck in his paw.
Bastard in a ramshackle shed. All the characters
will buy copies of the same novel.
It is my book, an amalgum of genetic material
siphoned from the greats. I have locks on my doors
& was invented by Ray Roussel at the farm
before the onset of the ice age. There was a debutante
ball caught in a test tube. Take an instant camera,
toss it to the burbling throng.
The smashing part is post muddle-dizzy.
