Walk down Mare Street, go past the little garden, remember the movie theatre, forget the names but not the tattoos, avoid the greasy spoon, try on clothes you can’t afford, walk all the way to the church, keep walking, miss the bus on purpose, keep breathing, go all the way to a little store with handmade earrings, touch the beads, so beautiful, tell the shop girl you will be back.
Never return.
