Carin Smeaton

Rin works and lives in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland with her teen sons Yuga and Kazma. Her first book, Tales of the Waihorotiu was published in 2017. She has a new collection of hybrid prose/poetry, Hibiscus Tart forthcoming via South Auckland publishing haus of resistance, Titus Books. She's featured Poet of 2024 Poetry Aotearoa Yearbook - Revelations (Massey University Press), edited by Tracey Slaughter.
