Art Fazil was a founding member of Rausyanfikir, the folk trio that presented the industry with alternative ethno-folk-rock-pop music combined with socially conscious lyrics. The band went on to produce two critically acclaimed albums. Art travelled and performed extensively in England, Scotland and Wales club circuit with a brief stint in Istanbul, Turkey in between. He has played at various venues including the world famous The Kashmir Klub, The Regal Room, The Twelve Bar Club, Bungies, Moles (Bath), Penny Theatre (Cantebury), Edinburgh Fringe Festival etc.
