Virginia Shepherd writes science fiction and has published in a range of places, from Abaddon to Cosmos. For 25 years a biophysical research scientist, she teaches cell biology, paints, sings in Rainsong choir, writes about the history and philosophy of bioelectricity, and is attracted to anything that is microscopic and/or aquatic.
