Song Lin

Song Lin is the author of numerous books of poetry, poetry anthologies and prose, and the poetry editor of the journal Jintian (Today). His collection The Gleaner Song: Selected Poems by Song Lin, translated by Dong Li, was published by Giramondo and Deep Vellum in 2021. His poetry collections in Chinese include City Dwellers (1987), Vestibule (2000), A Visit to Dai on a Snowy Night (2015), Oral Message (2016), and The Vulture Flies over the City (2021). Among his honours are fellowships from the Netherlands, Romania and Hong Kong, as well as the Shanghai, Dong Dang Zi and Chang Yao Literature Prizes. He has held residencies at OMI Ledig House Translation Lab and Vermont Studio Center in the United States.
