Simon Smith

Simon Smith is a poet, essayist, translator and teacher. He has published four collections of poetry, three with Salt Publications. Of the last, London Bridge (2010), Bill Berkson said, 'this book is really zinging'. Recently his co-authored piece (with Felicity Allen) 'Textual Intimacies: Letters, Journals, Poetry -- Ghost Writing Telegraph Cottage,' appeared in Scenes of Intimacy (Bloomsbury, 2013). His translations of Catullus will shortly appear from Carcanet in the UK. He lectures on poetry at the University of Kent at Canterbury in England.
