Samuel Trigueros Espino

Samuel Trigueros Espino was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He is the author of El trapecista de adobe y neón (1992), El visitante (1992) and Antes de la explosión (2009). He has been awarded the Migraciones: Mirando al Sur Prize (2009), the Lira de Oro Olimpia Varela y Varela Poetry Prize for his work Todo es amor tras esta nostalgia, and the Victor Hugo Poetry Prize (2003) for his work Animal de ritos. He is the co-founder and director of the poet’s collective Paíspoesible and currently works as an editor, illustrator and publisher for a number of social development projects.
