Sam Cooney

Sam Cooney is publishing director and editor-in-chief at The Lifted Brow. His writing has been published widely, including in Meanjin, The Rumpus, Sleepers Almanacs, The Australian, and as a founding member of the McSweeney’s Silent History geofiction project. He teaches at universities in Melbourne, is a member of the Emerging Writers Festival’s Program Advisory Committee, and helps kids make literary magazines at 100 Story Building. He is currently undertaking a residency with McSweeney’s Publishing.
