Rogelio Guedea

Rogelio Guedea is a poet, essayist, novelist and translator. He is the author of more than forty books among poetry, essay, narrative, interview and translation. Some of his recent books are: The compass of Seneca: handbook of philosophy for disoriented people (Grupo Almuzara, 2014), Broken time: the poetry of Jaime Sabines (Lectorum, 2014), Mine fields (Aldus, 2013) and The Crime of Los Tepames (Random House Mondadori, 2013). This novel has hit the bestsellers list in Mexico and it was in the top five three weeks after it was released. He is a columnist of the Mexican newspapers La Jornada Semanal and SinEmbargoMx and currently the coordinator of the Spanish Programme at the University of Otago.
