Nola Gregory

Nola Gregory is a Gija/Bardi woman from Western Australia and a self taught poet. She has been writing poetry since 1994. Her inspiration comes from within to write about my people and the atrocities that they have suffered in life on a daily basis. She write these poems in hope that it will have an affect on the person that reads them. Words that can inspire people to connect with the Aboriginal people of Our Country. She is the Recent winner of the Queensland Poetry Emerging Older Poets competition winning poem 'I will never be silent'.
