Eddy Banaré

Born in Martinique, Eddy Banaré received a Master in Comparative Literature from the Université des Antilles-Guyane and a Ph.D. in French literature from the Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie. He studied representations of mining in the literature of New Caledonia. He devotes his research to the relationship between media, politics and literature. He was French Lecturer at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. He has just published Les Récits du nickel en Nouvelle-Calédonie (Honoré Champion, Paris, 2012).
