Mansinh Chaudhary is an Adivasi writer from Unchamala in Vyara taluka of Tapi district of Gujarat. He has been teaching Gujarati in a college in Anand since 1992 and is presently Head of the Department. He holds a PhD degree in Gujarati and is a research guide at two universities of Gujarat. He writes in Chaudhary-Bhili, Gujarati and Hindi. He has 35 articles and 10 books to his credit. His collection of poems Khetawalo written in Chaudhary-Bhili language is the first of its kind in Gujarat. He was invited by the Delhi Sahitya Akademi to read his poems at the Tribal Poetry Festival.

Rupalee Burke is Head of the Department of English in a college in Ahmedabad. She uses her writing / translating skills in English, Gujarati and Hindi for cultural activism. She is on the Advisory Board of Research Horizons, a multidisciplinary international peer-reviewed research journal, and Shabdasar, a Gujarati journal of literature and arts. She is member of the Editorial team of Adilok, a Gujarati journal dedicated to the adivasi way of life. She contributes regularly to all these journals. She was member of the jury for the Delhi Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize (Gujarati) 2011. She has a number of publications to her credit including research papers and various collections of Gujarati poetry, short stories and drama in English translation. Many of her translations have appeared in Indian Literature. She has translated Girish Karnad's play Tale-danda into Gujarati as Shirachheda. She is the co-translation-Editor of the forthcoming English version (Gujarat volume) of the People's Linguistic Survey of India. Her Gujarati and Hindi translations of the Quebec Declaration of Literary Translation and Translators has recently been uploaded on the PEN International site.
