Paul Dawson

Paul Dawson's first book of poems, Imagining Winter (IP 2006) won the 2006 IP Picks Award for Best Poetry and his work has been anthologized in Contemporary Asian Australian Poets (Puncher & Wattmann, 2013) and Harbour City Poems: Sydney in Verse 1788-2008 (Puncher & Wattmann, 2009). Paul was shortlisted for the 2016 Newcastle Poetry Prize, and his poetry and fiction appear in a range of journals including Meanjin, Southerly, Island, Overland, Australian Poetry Journal and Mascara Literary Review. Paul teaches in the School of the Arts and Media at the University of New South Wales.
