Patrick Mercer is a Wadawurrung Kulin writer, educator and storyteller who splits their time between Narrm and Ballarat. Patrick is interested in public memory, retelling forgotten or misunderstood histories, exploring relationships, and, as someone living with chronic illness, interested in exploring health, illness and survival in the settler-colonial deathtrap. Patrick's preferred form is creative non-fiction, but loves the catharsis and inspiration of working with poetry.
