Ni Made Purnama Sari

Ni Made Purnama Sari is a Balinese poet. Her first poetry book, Bali – Borneo, won a prize from the 2014 Indonesian National Poetry Prize. Her second book, Kawitan (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2016), which speaks about contemporary Balinese lives and the world seen through a Balinese perspective, won second place in the 2015 Jakarta Arts Council Poetry Book Manuscript Competition. It was also a finalist for the 2016 Khatulistiwa Literary Award for Poetry. She has worked for Bentara Budaya (Jakarta and Yogyakarta) as their art-event organizer and Ubud Writers and Readers Festival as their Program Manager (2021-2022).
