Michelle Yu

Michelle Yu is a Singapore-born Melbournian of Chinese heritage whose vivid writing resonates with readers. Her stories and poems interweave rich characterisation and authentic experience to expose and create new representations. Previously, her short fiction and creative non-fiction have been published in university student magazines, and her poetry has been shortlisted for a student prize. Michelle usually writes poetry, mystery and science-fiction and funnily enough, so do some of the characters in her stories. Michelle is working towards being a freelancer who lives in a warm country with delicious food.
