Mete Özel

Mete Özel is a Turkish writer and translator whose many essays and translations have appeared in a variety of Turkish journals. His first book, Ilgım Düş Esrar, was published in 2008, and he has worked on a variety of projects involving myth and the oral tradition. Jeffrey Kahrs and Mete Özel were nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2025. Mete is a founding partner of the international translation company Mirora.

Neslihan Yalman was born in 1982 in Ankara. She graduated in fine arts, dramatic writing and performing arts from Dokuz Eylül University, and completed her master’s degree at Gazi University in the department of Turkish Folklore.
