Kiri Piahana-Wong

Kiri Piahana-Wong is a New Zealander of Māori (Ngāti Ranginui), Chinese and Pākehā (English) ancestry. Her work has appeared in many journals and anthologies, most recently in Essential New Zealand Poems (Godwit), A Treasury of NZ Poems for Children (Random House), Dear Heart: 150 New Zealand Love Poems (Godwit), and Puna Wai Kōrero (AUP). Her first poetry collection, Night Swimming, was released in 2013. She is the publisher at Anahera Press (est. 2011), a small publishing house that specializes in publishing poetry collections by Māori and Pasifika writers
