Ed Southorn

Ed Southorn was a newspaper journalist for thirty two years until 2009. Since then he has tutored in journalism at Griffith University and the University of Queensland. His PhD in sociology and narrative journalism examines contested space on the Gold Coast. He is interested in the various understandings of eco poetics and narrative poetry. His recent poetry, memoir and an essay have appeared in Blackbox Manifold, Axon, Meniscus, the Ekphrastic Review and the Journal of Wild Culture. He lives at Bermagui.
