Daphne Marlatt

Vancouver poet Daphne Marlatt spent some childhood years in Penang, Malaysia, her father having lived there pre-WWII. Marlatt’s recent titles include Liquidities: Vancouver Poems Then and Now (2013) and Reading Sveva (2016), a poetic response to the work of the Canadian artist-poet Sveva Caetani. In 2017 Talonbooks published Intertidal: Collected Earlier Poems 1968-2008, edited by Susan Holbrook.
