Andrew Darling

Andrew Darling is a poet, jazz musician, trumpet player, singer/songwriter and music educator. A companion to Andrew’s 25-year music career, writing poetry has been a way of mapping internal landscapes, transmuting the woundings of life, and reflecting visions of this strange and luminous existence. Andrew is the frontman and songwriter for acoustic trio The Anecdote and is part of Illuminous, a performance art collaboration featuring improvised trumpet and improvised poetic writing. His poetry has been published in Otoliths.
