Andrea DeAngelis is at times a poet, writer, shutterbug and musician living in New York City. Her writing has recently appeared in Angle, Synchronized Chaos and Poetry is Dead. She has just completed her first novel Pushed. She also sings and plays guitar in the indie rock band MAKAR who are in the midst of recording their third album, Fancy Hercules.

Nostalgia Half-life

Nostalgia should be labeled a hazardous material the further you bury the memories the more your cellular structure becomes contaminated and your emotions unstable simultaneously volatile and disabled.
