                        five dollar miracle

                                    from the small bakery

                                               on Pashley Street.

                                                           Sweet sustenance

                                                                       in the ghetto, a treat

                                                                                    villagers taste and savour

                                                                                              when they reckon

                                                                                                            they cannot buy or live

                                                                                                                          on bread alone.
