周粲 (Zhou Can)

Zhou Can (周粲) formerly known as Zhou Guocan, was born in Chenghai, Guangdong. A famous Singaporean poet and writer, Zhou Can holds a Bachelor of Arts from Nanyang University and a Master of Arts from the University of Singapore. He has served as a middle school teacher, a specialist inspection by the Ministry of Education, a lecturer at the College of Education, and a textbook writer for the Curriculum Development Agency. Now retired, he has published nearly 100 kinds of literary works and has won awards such as the Arts Culture Award in 1990 and the 2nd Xinhua Literature Award in 1995.
