Yeena Kirkbright is a Wiradjuri poet who grew up on Wiradjuri Country in a place that is now called Orange. She acknowledges the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Owners of the unceded lands on which she is now blessed to live and work. Her work has appeared in several literary journals.
