Ulysses Aparece

Ulysses B Aparece works at the University of Cebu, Cebu City, Philippines as Vice Chancellor for Academics and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. He finished his Master of Arts in Language and Literature degree at De La Salle University in Manila and Ph.D. in Anthropology course at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City. He received recognitions for his poems from Home Life magazine, Bathalad Writers Group, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. He is a published researcher whose works were on the healing Shamans and his home province of Bohol's folk hero, Francisco Dagohoy.
