Svetlana Lavochkina

Svetlana Lavochkina is a Ukrainian-born novelist, poet and translator residing in Germany. She is the author of the novella Dam Duchess (runner-up in the Paris Literary Prize, 2013), the novel Zap (shortlisted for the Tibor Jones Pageturner Prize, 2015) and a novel in verse, Carbon (University of Washington Press, 2020). Her translations of Ukrainian poetry have been published in the US by the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute.
