Soyini Ayanna Forde

Soyini Ayanna Forde grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. She has work in Apogee, Cleaver, Moko, sx salon, The Caribbean Writer and elsewhere. Taste of Hibiscus, her poetry chapbook, is available from Dancing Girl Press. She received an MFA from Stonecoast, and her writing was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and The Best American Essays. She lives in Florida and is the 2016 winner of the Small Axe Literary Competition in poetry.
