Shaine Melrose is a queer South Australian poet with a career in horticulture. She has been recognised in various national competitions, in print and on stage. Her unpublished manuscript of poetic memoir, The Natural World Does Somersaults, was Highly Commended in Friendly Street Poets, Single Poets competition, 2021.
