Saleh AbuShamala

Saleh AbuShamala is a curator, writer, cultural activist, and researcher. His work explores unlearning practices, human cultural expression under siege, the roots of radical pedagogies, and grounded vernacular cultural soils. He is a member and contributing writer at 28 Magazine and has contributed as a researcher on ferality with New Alphabet School (HKW). Saleh was on the Ecoversities Publication Circle Board and is actively participating in various cultural and educational communities and collectives. He is currently collaborating on establishing a community-driven digital platform dedicated to reclaiming our collective humanity in the face of dehumanization resulting from the genocide in Gaza.
