Rodney Cross

Rodney Cross is a researcher and emerging poet based in regional Victoria, Australia. The contemplation of sensory experiences forms the core of Rodney's academic and creative works. With a PhD in Ancient History from Macquarie University, Rodney has written pieces on: sensory perception in ancient societies, textual illustrations of sound, and human and animal interactions. Rodney is currently working on his first collection of poems, The Ageing of Worlds, which considers the Earth's geological processes, the materiality of time, and nature's voice through the lens of poetic reflection.
