RayVi Sunico

Ramón C. Sunico, RayVi to his friends, has two MAs, one in History of Ideas from the University of Sussex (British council grant) and another in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila. He also received a grant for a Praktikum in Verlagswesen (publishing) that allowed him to work at three publishing houses in Germany, where he designed, printed and bound his first book of poetry, The Secret of Graphite: Poems in 2 Tongues. An expanded version of this, Bruise: A 2-Tongue Job was published in the 90s, winning a national book award. He has also been a guest speaker at the Frankfurt Bookfair.
