Nikko Miguel Garcia

Nikko Miguel Garcia is from Manila, Philippines. His debut poetry collection, Sa Aking Mga Kamay, was published in 2025 by Aklat Ulagad, an independent press based in Virac, Catanduanes. His poems have appeared in Luntian, Mountain Beacon, 聲韻詩刊 Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine, and Dapitan, while his essays and reviews have been featured in Rappler Voices, Inquirer Young Blood, PhilSTAR L!fe, Ateneo de Manila University Press, and Cha: An Asian Literary Journal. With a decade of experience in media, he has reported for the newsrooms of the University of Santo Tomas’s The Varsitarian, ONE News, and PhilSTAR L!fe. He writes for the startup radar.ph. He is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at De La Salle University.
