Munawwar Abdulla is an Uyghur-Australian working in the US as a lab manager in a neuroscience lab. She is an advocate for Uyghur issues and co-founder of the Tarim Network. Her writing has been published in UNSWeetened, Rabbit Poetry, Subbed In, The Diplomat, Overachiever Magazine, and various online blogs. She also enjoys translating Uyghur literature and hopes to shed more light on Uyghur lit in the wider literary world some day.
