Moira Kirkwood

Moira Kirkwood's writing started to take shape when she joined the South Coast Writers Centre several years ago. She aims, generally unsuccessfully, to balance the demands of both writing and painting. Neither practice takes kindly to being neglected, and really makes you pay once you return to it with your tail between your legs. Her work has been included in Deep sounding: ocean poems, edited by Friederike Krishnabhakdi-Vasilakis (2023); South Coast Writers Centre Anthologies Chroma (forthcoming); 34-37 degrees South (2022 & 2023) ; Legacies (2021); Seeking Horizons (2014); Burrow magazine (2021, 2022, 2023) and Ink 3, Society of Women Writers NSW (2016).
