Mohammad Nassefh Macla

Mohammad Nassefh Macla is a Kaagan-Bangsamoro native from Panabo City, Davao del Norte, Philippines. He is a recipient of the 13th Sultan Kudarat Award for Culture and the Arts, the highest award given to outstanding Moro-Muslim individuals in the Philippines, for his achievement in the field of literature. He is also a member of the Davao Writers Guild from 2016 up to present, and has been a fellow in poetry in several national writers workshops, including the Silliman University National Writers Workshop in Dumaguete City, Philippines. His works have been published in the anthologies, Peace Mindanao, edited by Jaime An Lim and Rays of the Invisible Light by Gutierrez Mangansakan II. Currently, he teaches Creative Writing at a college in his hometown.
