Linda M. Deane

Linda M Deane is a Barbadian poet, storyteller (aka The Summer Storyteller), editor and writing mentor. She has twice received the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment and Prime Minister’s Award for her poetry (Cutting Road Blues: A Narrative in 2005; and Bridgetown in 2015). With fellow literary activist Robert Edison Sandiford, she is co-founder of ArtsEtc, a publishing and cultural forum; and co-editor of Shouts from the Outfield: The ArtsEtc Cricket Anthology. In her dreams, she is a dancer and an athlete.
