Leroy Wilson

Leroy Wilson is an Indigenous storyteller and aspiring poet. He was raised in the outback community of Barcaldine in Central Western Queensland. Spending much of his life in the bush lands of Australia, Leroy has been constantly exposed to the harsh arid deserts and found much beauty in this landscape. His poetry has been published in Inkerman & Blunt’s Australian Love Poems 2013, About Place Journal: Enlightened Visions, and has been featured in numerous online journals over the years. Leroy has performed at various spoken word poetry nights and corporate functions, including Bond University’s annual Indigenous Gala.
