Kendrea Rhodes

Kendrea Rhodes (she/her) is a visual artist, writer, poet, and doctoral researcher in Creative Writing at Flinders University, Adelaide. Kendrea’s research focusses on the former Ballarat Asylum using Mad studies, history and creative practice research. In 2024, Kendrea received the Australian Association of Writing Program’s Postgraduate Prize (scholarly). Kendrea's recent publications have appeared with Red Room Poetry, Creative Matters (DDCA), FWD:MUSEUMS Journal, The Adas 2025 (Williamstown Literary Festival), TEXT (AAWP), Art/Research International, and Provenance (Public Record Office Victoria).
