Jenny Pollak

Jenny Pollak has been a visual artist most of her life, focusing in photography, sculpture and video installation. For a period of ten years she also toured Australia and Latin America performing as a percussionist, flautist and backing vocalist with various Latin American bands. More recently she has begun to write poetry and to incorporate her poetry into her video installations. In 2016 she won both the Bruce Dawe Poetry Prize and the Yeats poetry Prize. She has been shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize, the Fish Poetry Prize, and came third in the inaugural ACU Literature Award.
