Fereshteh Toosi

Fereshteh Toosi is a learner and a nonbinary, anglophone artist of Iranian and Azeri ancestry. They live in El Portal, Florida, USA on stolen lands still stewarded by the Miccosukee and Seminole people, and previously by the Calusa and Tequesta tribal bands.


It’s All Coming from Outside the Container Place was composed in collaboration with GPT-2, an open-source neural network AI that was retrained on a small text dataset of Fereshteh’s writing from their most recent body of work, Oil Ancestors.
