Edwin Yeats

Edwin Yeats: Born in Gibraltar and educated there in state schools. Studied in England at Durham and Cambridge universities. Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Leeds. Poems contributed to The Grammarian, Gibraltar; poetry magazines at Durham and Leeds; and the poetry readings in T R Henn's rooms at St Catharine's College, Cambridge. Unpublished poems and a draft novel, The Sea-purple Web, set in Gibraltar in 1831.
