Edie Popper (they/them) is a critical care nurse and poet living and working on unceded Gadigal, Wangal and Burramattagal Lands. Edie’s writing aims to add to the landscape of writers imagining worlds of planetary and human justice, beyond extraction and capitalism. Their poetry won the 2025 Woorilla Poetry Prize, was shortlisted for the 2025 Robert Gray Poetry Prize, and is published in Australian Poetry Journal, Jacaranda Journal, Meniscus, Right Now Mag, Marrow Poetry, and others.
