Clesencio Rambaud

Clesencio B Rambaud is presently the Managing Editor of Bannawag magazine, published by the Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation with offices at Intramuros, Manila. He received the 2011 Gameng Lifetime Achievement Award for Literature by the Gameng Foundation, Inc. for Museo Ilocos Norte and the 2000 Gawad Emmanuel Lacaba by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) 'for his poems, novels and essays which have influenced young writers, and featured the culture and customs of the Ilocano people.' He has also received writing grants from the Cultural Center of the Philippines for an Ilokano Novel (1991), Ilokano Children’s Story (1993), and Ilokano Poetry (1995). His poetry collection won the 2009 NCCA Writers’ Prize for Ilokano poetry.
