Anne Kennedy

Anne Kennedy writes fiction and poetry. The Darling North and Sing-song (Auckland UP) both won the New Zealand national book award for poetry. Her most recent novel, The Last Days of the National Costume, appeared from Allen & Unwin in 2013. Kennedy has worked as a screenwriter (The Monkey’s Mask) and script editor. She teaches fiction and screenwriting at Manukau Institute of Technology and is a editor of Manukau's arts journal, Ika.
